FC Sheriff team captain and goalkeeper Serghei Paschenko talked to the official site of the club on how the team spends the first part of training camps in Tiraspol.
 
- Now we work more on physical preparation. The team moves a lot without a ball, they get tired but it is absolutely normal. In the course of the season we should be able to endure all exercises, therefore we need to work hard now. We have many Brazilians in the team, of course, they like working with the ball more, however they have a serious attitude to their job and fulfill all the required physical exercise. We are full of desire to improve our position in the standings. We get prepared for the championship very seriously. There is no question of relaxation.
 
There are training camps in Turkey soon, the team is going to have six matches. What should be expected from your sparring partners?
Sparrings in Turkey are necessary both for the team and for the coaching staff. Now game connections should be made. We should be in a great playing condition before the championship starts.
 
What will be the most important thing for you in those matches?
Whether it is an official or a two-sided game, I always have a task to keep a clean sheet.
