Second places at Sheriff Winter Cup 2024
The second game week of the prestigious tournament Sheriff Winter Cup 2024, held at the Sheriff Sports Complex in Moldova, ended today. The tournament will last until December 22 and will cover competitions in different age categories.
Both Sheriff Academy teams in the age category of 2011-2012 birth years, who played this week, showed high results, reaching the final.
- “Sheriff” U14, under the guidance of coach Sergei Ragulin, met the Romanian team “Petrolul” (Ploiesti) in the final. The main time ended with the score 1:1, but on penalties the opponent was stronger - 2:3. The second team, “Sheriff-14”, took the final 7th place.
- “Sheriff” U13, coach Alexander Pashchenko, also reached the final, where they lost to the team of AF “Radu Rebezha” with the score 0:1. The second team, Sheriff U13, finished the tournament on the 7th position.
