Today in Divisia A Sheriff-2 met with Saxan from Ceadir Lunga in an away match. In the beginning of the game there haven't been too many opportunities. The first real danger was created by Sheriff-2 - Valery Makritsky got the ball in front of the penalty area and produced a very good shot, but the goalkeeper was alert. Saxan answered with the series of corner kicks, but in vain. Later Macogonenco played not too successful, saving the ball from going to the corner kick, but giving it to the opponent. However, our defense worked great and prevented a goal. In the first half there have been no goals.

The second half the hosts began with attacks, but our team defended well. Despite of that 10 minutes after the start of the second half Sheriff-2 conceded - the partners gave Istrati a good pass and he was precise. In the next dangerous episode in our goal Macogonenco saved our team by saving a hard header from the same Istrati. Sheriff-2 answered with the shot by Andrey Makritsky, after which the goalkeeper grabbed the ball. A minute later Paireli had a good chance, but was just not in time for a good pass. The next danger was still in front of our goal - our former player Vornishel showed some good dribbling and made a good shot to the closer corner, but failed to beat Macogonenco. The ball appeared in our net once again, but the goal was disallowed because of the off-side. The match ended 1-0.
