The qualifying tournament for the European Championship for U-19 national youth teams, which is held at the stadium of the Republic of Moldova, has started.

In the first match the home team, led by Serghei Cebotari, played a draw with the team of Ireland. The savior of the Moldovan team was the goalkeeper of the second team of FC “Sheriff”, Serghei Obyskalov, who not only saved his team many times, but also converted a penalty in the penalty shootout.

Another pupil of the Football Academy “Sheriff”, Maxim Kyrnats remained in the reserve.
