FC Sheriff head coach Roberto Bordin comments upon a 3-1 victory of his side over FC Victoria in the round 16 of the Orange Moldova Cup:

I’m glad we ended with a victory today, but I’m not pleased with the way we did it. We had another plan to win. In the first half, we had enough goal chances we should have converted, but the performance was rusty. In the second half, we conceded a goal and there was a chance for another one. As I’ve already said, we won and that’s good, but it was not the way we wanted to. We have things to learn from in the future work.

Today you've fielded reserve players who don’t have many appearances.
We can make such rotations as we have a big team. We try to do that in the National Division too. Today the pitch conditions weren’t at their best, but sure, that’s no excuse: we must always be ready to adapt fast.

In the coming up match of the Europa League, FC Sheriff will face FC Lokomotiv in Moscow. Are your players ready for cold weather?
Well, you may think it’s a joke but the key factor is to move faster on the pitch. Both teams will play under same weather conditions. But first comes the game in the championship and we should focus on it now.
