FC Sheriff head coach Roberto Bordin commented on the final of the Cup of Moldova: 

- First of all I would like to congratulate the team on this achievement. It is another important trophy for our team. You saw everything, the first half was equal. Zaria played very dangerously, especially in set pieces. We also had chances, especially when Damashkan hit the crossbar. When Damashkan opened the scoring, the match opened and we could score another four goals. The team played decently.

- Today main players did not get booked. You had substitutions in the right time. Could you expect that the match would turn out so perfectly?
- Yes, in principle, everything is fine. Balima had a small injury, however. But this is true we saved many players.

- The zebra turned out to be a prophetess…
- As I said at the first press conference before the match, we will take it to Tiraspol. But seriously we need to pay proper respect to the team that played decently today. They showed their level in the first half, even when it was hard and we were close to conceding.

- What was the key of success in the second half? In 11 minutes we scored 4 times…
- We kept on believing in what we did, despite scoring no goals at that time. We kept on playing despite that Zaria had a good control of the ball and despite our chances in the first half that we didn't convert. I will say again thanks to Damashkan's goal the match opened and we could score. 

- Are you going to celebrate or are you thinking about the Golden Match?
- We can celebrate with the team, but someone of course thinks about the next match. We have training tomorrow to start preparing for the next match.

- Radu played on unusual position and he played great.  Will you use him on this position further on?
- Yes, Radu is all-in-one midfielder and can play differently in my schemes on various positions. He sacrifices a lot for the team, both in attack and in defense. They played greatly in the home zone with Seidu. They had some rest after Jabbie took the field.

- What can you afford yourselves once you win the next match?
- Now we are happy with this victory. Tomorrow is another training session, and after the match on 30 May we will get back to this matter.
