FC Sheriff Head Coach, Roberto Bordin, on the Moldova-Moldtelecom Cup final against SFC Balti:
- Was it a tough match, where you could have lost?
- Indeed, it was a challenging game against a very tenacious and well-organized team. We created enough chances at the opponent's goal, but lacked conversion. However, based on how we played today, the team deserved this victory.
- Can we say that the team was somewhat fortunate in the penalty shootout?
- Penalties are somewhat of a lottery. But in the toughest moment, Maxim Koval came to our rescue, making two incredible saves. We were able to win two trophies. This is the merit of everyone who works in the club, and I want to thank everyone, from the management to the ordinary workers, who have done everything throughout the season so that the players did not think about anything but playing on the football field.
