Head coach of FC Sheriff Roberto Bordin commented on the victory over Partizan 3:1.

 

- Today was a very difficult game, but we showed all our good qualities. We knew that Partizan would play on the counterattacks. Thanks to the fact that we knew this, we managed to score our first goal. I am very encouraged by the way my guys reacted to the missed goal - with what speed, and the proof of today's great game were those two goals scored after the penalty. The guys really fought with dignity, played great, I think that we deserved this victory. In the second half, after scoring a goal, we played more defensively and there were several moments when our goalkeeper Maxim Koval saved us with great saves.

 

- Mr. Bordin, do you still play better at home or away? Where is it easier for you to play?

- I like to play both at home and away when we win.

 

- Whom would you like to see as rivals in the next round?

- Tonight it is important to enjoy the victory, celebrate it and thank our players, and we will start thinking about the next round from tomorrow morning.

 

Mouhamed Diop, the author of two goals against Partizan, also answered questions:

 

- Mouhamed, was it your best game in your career?

- Yes, I think so.

- Yes, I was confident, but not only in myself, but in the whole team. This is not a victory for me and not for other players, this is our common victory, for the whole team.
