FC Sheriff head coach Roberto Bordin gave his comments on the match with Zaria: 

- I am very glad. All team fully devoted themselves to achieve this result. We waited for our chances. We started to play intensively from the first minutes. We knew that our opponent plays well in short pass. So we tried to close space in the home zone. We had a few chances to score before the first goal. In general, I am very glad at the result and team's play. Zaria is a very good team. They had a few dangerous moments at our goal. At the end we are very glad at this result.  

- In the second half Sheriff played number two. Right? 
- It is normal. The opponent pressed in the second 45. It is normal that at that score we tried to play counterattacks. We should not take risk. Central forwards played well. We tried to close the space for the opponent. It is good that we could score the second goal. 

- Sheriff outplayed their competitors for gold. Do you think the team is the favorite now? 
- It would be silly to think that everything is over now. I said earlier that we think about the upcoming match. Every game is important. The main thing is concentrate and be ready to everything.
