- You haven't played many games for your former club - Paderborn 07 - was there a high competition?

- No, it's not about competition. It so happened that there were some disagreements with the head coach. I tried to prove myself, but I rarely got such a chance. It happens in football - sometimes you don't play, and sometimes you don't miss a single match.

 

- Speaking of the coach, have you heard something about our head coach Zoran Zekic?

- Yes, I heard. I think he is a good coach. Of course, this is a strengthening for Tiraspol club. With Zoran it will be easier to fit into the lineup and the game, since there is no language barrier. All that remains is to work hard.

 

- What would you like to achieve this season that did not work out in 2018?

- Of course, first of all I want to be the champion of the country again. Well, and in European competition to achieve more than in 2018. My dream is to play in the group stage of the Champions League or Europa League.

 

- Have you become stronger in these two years?

- I cannot estimate myself. In the upcoming games, let the fans estimate me, they have the right to talk about me. Now I'm in good shape, I want to start playing as soon as possible. I am full of strength and energy to help the team succeed.

 

- What thoughts do you have on the Champions League?

- I think about it all the time. This year a different format. Everything is decided in one game, so there won't be a second chance. You need to be honest with yourself and do everything possible to win. We have the necessary conditions. This means that everything depends on ourselves. I know our rival and I know that now everyone in Europe is trying to assert themselves. I am sure that we need to show ourselves from the first minutes of the game and not let go the initiative until the very final whistle.
