In an exclusive interview with the press service he talked about his transition, impressions of the new city and ambitions for the upcoming season.
- Rai, welcome to FC Sheriff! How did your transition to the team happen? Did you have any other offers?
- My transition to FC Sheriff came naturally. When the club got in touch, I liked the offer and I was immediately interested in this option. Given the history of the team, its achievements and regular participation in European competitions, I realized that it was the right step for my development. Of course, I had other offers, but in the end I chose Tiraspol.
- You have already started training with the team and managed to play in several control matches. How do you assess the level of preparation?
- The training here is organized at a high level, all conditions for quality work are created. Pre-season trainings are always difficult and tiring, but it is a necessary stage to gain optimal form and prepare for official matches.

- Tiraspol is a very calm and hospitable city. I was warmly welcomed at the club, and it helped me to get used to it faster both on the field and in everyday life. I feel comfortable and I am gradually getting used to the new environment.
- You are a pupil of Fluminense, one of the most famous clubs in Brazil. How did this stage affect your career?
- It was an important period in my life that shaped me as a player and a person. I learned a lot at Fluminense and this experience helped me to adapt more quickly to professional soccer.
- In Brazil you also played for Figueirense. What memories did that stage leave you with?
-It was a short but valuable period. Unfortunately, we did not manage to achieve all the goals, but I am grateful to the club for the opportunity.
- Your way in Europe began in Belarus, where you played for Dynamo Minsk. What are your impressions of European soccer?
- In Europe soccer is more dynamic, with high competition and tactical discipline. The rhythm of the game is different here, and it helps me to progress.
- You have passed the whole qualification path of European cups with Dynamo. Which match was the most memorable?
- Each match was important in its own way, but the atmosphere and the stadium of Greek Panathinaikos was especially memorable. It was a special experience.
- What does it mean for you to participate in the European Cup?
- It is the fulfillment of my dream - to play against the strongest European teams. Such matches give incredible experience and motivation to become better.
- FC Sheriff is known for its success in the international arena. How important is it for you to play for such a club?
- I knew about the history of the club even before my arrival, and I am pleased to be part of a team that has already proved its competitiveness in Europe. I want to contribute and help the team reach new heights.
- What motivates you to improve every day?
- The desire to grow as a professional, to benefit the team, to achieve new goals. Also my family is the main source of inspiration for me.
