Today, in the UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland, there will be a draw for the playoff round of the Europa League, which will determine the possible rival of FC Sheriff.

Our club is in the first group, and the teams are distributed as follows:

Match Winner 1: Maccabi Tel Aviv (Israel) - Suduva (Lithuania)
Match Winner 2: Ararat-Armenia (Armenia) - Saburtalo (Georgia)
Match winner 3: FC Riga (Latvia) - HJK Helsinki (Finland)
Match winner 4: Dudelange (Luxembourg) - Nõmme Kalju (Estonia)
Match winner 5: Sheriff Tiraspol (Moldova) - AIK (Sweden)

Procedure: The six teams that left the champions path of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League will be seeded, and the teams that passed the champions path of the third qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League will not be seeded.

For the first group, the balls containing the selected teams will be placed in one bowl, and the balls containing unselected teams will be placed in another bowl. One ball will be taken from each bowl and placed in a large empty bowl where they will be mixed. The first team in a draw will play their first match at home with the second team.

The same procedure is performed until there are no seeded teams left, after which the draw becomes open and the principle of seeding teams no longer applies. Beginning of the draw is at 14.30.
