Petru Racu, "I am happy that we kept our gates locked"
Defender of “yellow-black” Petru Racu talks about match with FC “Zaria” and about upcoming match in European Cups.
- Petru, congratulations with debut! How would you characterize the game with FC “Zaria”?
- Thank you for your congratulations, very nice of you. I can say that the match went well, especially well with the score and the rest of the game. We are happy that the season has begun with such a high score. It is possible to say with the confidence, that our debut started taking place on the major note.
- You were noted with your goal, tell us, how did it happen?
- Well first, the ball was passed from the corner flag but I did not reach that pass. Afterwards, Cyrille Bayala played a tackle successfully and kicked the ball in a penalty area again. This time I managed to win this debut but I am mostly happy that we kept our gates locked.
- To your opinion, did you complete the coach’s guideline to a match?
- We were getting ready to this match carefully it is because we completed the most of the coach’s guidelines. Overall, I am happy with the game. But there are some aspects which we need to work on.
- Crushing defeat of “Zaria” is it an advantage of “wasp” or, may be, wards of Vlad Goyan at the start of this game gave much power to the Europa League with FC “Saraevo”?
- I think the major part played both. I congratulated football players of FC “Zaria” with the passing to the next round of Europa League. They gave much power to the match with FC “Saraevo”, and in the middle of the second half it was noticeable that their physical condition was exhausting. Of course, I have to note a good work of our team and the second coach staff at the beginning of the game.
- Petru, to your mind, could we keep our gates in outreach of Alban FC “Kukesi”?
- In any way we will try to do that. Playing defense to a 0 is very hard in European Cup, however, this increases the chances to pass to the second round of European Cup significantly.
