Peter Wilson in the match against Codru Lozova scored his first goal for our team. It became the 1400th for FC Sheriff in the National Division. The Liberian forward commented on this event:
 

- It is always a good feeling to be in the historical records book. It was also my first official goal for the club so I’m very delighted that everything turned out that way .

 

- You managed to score only at the beginning of the second half. What did not work out in the first half of the game?

- There was nothing specific that did not work in the first half. I had a couple of chances during the first half but I didn’t manage to score, but I kept my focus and was able to get a goal in the beginning of the second half. I believed that I would score and it happened.

 

- In the match with Codru you first appeared from the first minutes. Prior to this, you entered only for substitution. What were your thoughts before the game?

- I was charged with a lot of energy before the game and wanted to help the team and myself to win and have a good performance. It was my first game from start for some months so I’m very happy to be on the field again.

 

- What is your opinion on the past matches of the team in the Cup and the Championship of Moldova?

-I’m positive towards our start of the competitions. It’s sad that we didn’t manage to qualify to the final of the Cup but I believe that our performances has only gotten better for each match we have played. We are getting stronger and more coordinated for every game.

 

- The competition is very high for the position of forward in FC Sheriff. You said your first word. What's next, and how are you going to compete with your partners for a place in the starting lineup?

- The competition keeps you focus for every training and game because you know you have good players around you. I believe that I need to stay focused on what I can contribute and effect and when I get the chance I will be ready to help the team in any way possible.

 

- How do you prepare for your next rival - Zimbru?

- We have started off with 3 wins and have a good atmosphere in the team so I believe we should keep on working hard and be humble for our next challenge against FC Zimbru.

 

- What can you say about the trainings of Zoran Zekic?

- The coach demands a lot from us players so we need to stay focus and concentrated during our training sessions. We have a lot of good players so our quality during training is getting better every day.

 

- What can you say about the empty stands in the stadium?

- It’s very sad, football is not the same without our fans. They give us extra energy and help us during the game. Hopefully they will allowed back to the stadium soon. I’m looking forward to play in front  of them.
