Peter Ademo: "I will try to show my best side"
First interview with Nigerian first team midfielder Peter Ademo:
- Peter, you are a player of FC Sheriff. How did you decide to move?
- It was not an easy choice for me, because Sheriff is a big strong club and I was very worried because very strong players are gathered around me. The question was, will I be able to reach this level. But I will try to show my best side.
- What are your impressions after moving to Tiraspol?
- The impression is the best. It was very exciting the first meeting with the coaches and the guys on the team. I repeat, FC Sheriff is a big team that played in the Champions League, the Europa League. As a result, everyone was very friendly to me.
- How were you met in the club, with whom did you manage to make friends?
- I communicate with everyone, but most of all I spend time with Rasheed Akanbi, Bubacarr Tambedou and Iyayi Atimven.
- Peter, tell us a little about your country, childhood, football development.
- I had a difficult childhood. My family did not have much wealth. I was the only child in the family who did not go to school. I loved football and, like many children in Africa, played every day in the street. Then representatives of the local academy noticed me and invited me to their place.
- Who is the best football player in Nigeria?
- Right now, it's Victor Ociman. And if you take all the years, this is of course Jay-Jay Okocha and Nwankwo Kanu.
- How do you spend your free time?
- I like to play video games.
- Everyone has goals. What are your dreams?
- In terms of football, my dream is to play in the Champions League and also play in the World Cup.
- What would you say to FC Sheriff fans?
- I promise that I will give my all 100%. The main prerogative is to help the team achieve success.
