Peter Ademo: «Our goal is the Eurocup group»
Nigerian first team midfielder, Peter Ademo, talked about signing a new contract, recovery process and expectations from his return to the field.
- Peter, last season was difficult for you, although it started well. Then there was an injury that left you out of the field for a long time. Now you have signed a full contract with the club. What does it mean for you?
- It means that the club trusts me and hopes that I will be even more useful. All I have to do this year is to thank the management for their trust with my game.
- What is it like to be away from the soccer field?
- It is very hard to look at the soccer field from the stands and not do what I love most in life. But I'm not discouraged, I'm working hard on my recovery. I want to come back as soon as possible.
- How is the comeback process going?
- It's going well, and I'm very happy about it.
- What pleased you during the last year and what disappointed you in FC Sheriff?
- Let's talk about what pleased me. It is the attitude of the staff to me, the coaching staff and doctors. Especially during my rehabilitation period after injury. A lot of attention, a lot of help and warmth.
- Do you remember your first goal scored as a member of FC Sheriff?
- Of course. How can one forget such a thing. It was in the match against Farul, we won in extra time and advanced to the next round. A special moment, considering that it was my first time when I took part in the Champions League qualification.
- There is a new European Cup season ahead. What are your expectations?
- We all know that FC Sheriff strives to be the first and wants to play well in the European competition. Therefore, my expectations and intentions are to get with the club to the group stage of the European Cup.
- We wish you a speedy return to the field and avoid long-distance injuries.....
- Thank you very much.
