Patrick Pedersen: United team - the key to success
The Danish forward, Patrick Pedersen, about the Scandinavian style of playing, the first trainings, collective and adaptation in FC Sheriff.
-How is your adaptation period in a new team going?
-I’ve been in Tiraspol for some time. First I shall say I’m glad to be here. I like everything. Gradually I get used to new conditions. Players and coaching staff help me, so to say, to find myself in new collective.
-How were first trainings?
- Yes, we had already several trainings. The coaching staff holds everything at the professional level. Individual approach and team work is carried out daily, I think, we will successfully prepare for the forthcoming season. I enjoy the first days of trainings. And of course, I am very impressed with infrastructure which was created here for development of football.
- How does the relationship with collective develop?
- Of course, it would be possible to stay only in the room and to meet partners only at trainings. For me personally, of course, it is wrong. We meet out of trainings, we communicate, we learn a lot of new about each other. I seek to get acquainted and become friends with all as soon as possible. United team - the key to success in any team sport.
- You played in Denmark, Iceland and Norway. Is this that football which suits you?
- I began to play in Denmark. I will tell that football there is rough, power and with a large number of physical single combats. Such playing teaches many things, but I like high-speed and two-edged football. Coming to teams of Iceland and Norway, I managed to realize myself exactly in this, convenient for me football. When a game is built not only on standards, but also wide-open game takes place. So to say, from one goal to the other.
- A new season, in a new club. Are the goals defined?
- My goal - as much as possible to help the club with games of the championship and with Euro cups. It’s important to score many goals for a forward, thus, helping the team to achieve a victory. At the same time, nobody cancelled a duty to help with defense, and to assist the partners in the attack. I will try to prove myself from the different sides for success of common cause.
