- Firstly, we'd like to find out from you how the training camp in Turkey goes?

- Training camp goes at a good level. We have a lot of new players in our team who are trying to fall into the team. We are trying to get to know each other. We play with good opponents. We know what to do and what results should be achieved in the Champions League, possibly in the Europa League. We work a lot on tactics.

 

- How much have you already learned to understand each other, and how does this affect during matches?

- Of course, we need time to bring everything to perfection, to become better and to be able to achieve what we want, and so it is the way we want. Every day we get to know each other closer, see the abilities and qualities that each of us possesses. Of course, the fact that we are in the process of acquaintance affects the game, but if we add concentration, we will quickly find the necessary understanding.

 

- In the first two matches in Turkey, the team does not miss. Is it the merit of the defense or the whole team?

- Of course, this is the merit of teamwork. Forwards help midfield lines and so on along the lines. Of course, when we play with ten as a single mechanism, it is easier to avert the threat from the goal.

 

- You bring the team to the field with a captain's armband. What does this mean for you?

- I understand perfectly well that when you enter the field, you must give yourself completely and even more. On the other hand, I was always 100% ready and this fact does not affect me in any way.

 

- Was it a surprise for you when they said that you would lead the team with the captain's armband?

- Yes, of course, this was a surprise. There are players in the team more experienced than me. They are and Zvonimir Mikulic, and Gabriel Boban. We have a captain - Slava Posmac, we all want him to return faster.

 

- Can we say that Ousmane has adapted completely in the team?

- Our team is easy to adapt. We have a wonderful dressing room where everyone feels like part of the team. Tiraspol is not such a big city that can distract us from football. We have a wonderful team and all employees are very close to the players. And Victor Mikhailov, and the doctor (Vladimir Vremes), Serghei Pascenco, and the rest, all support us. Here they treat very good new players and make sure that players do not feel problems. And this has a positive effect on the training process.

 

- But, at the same time, Zoran Zekic often makes comments to players during training ...

- Yes he does. Sometimes, we need it. We, the players, are many, we speak different languages. The coach is trying to explain to each of us his requirements. In the training process, this is normal.

 

- Will FC Sheriff be the Champion?

- We all really want this. Of course, no one knows what will happen during the season. Many say that FC Sheriff will easily become the Champion, but this is not so, the season will be long and difficult. We all want to win the title, and we will do everything for this. We must be a champion.
