Our players follow their way to Russia
FC Sheriff seven players have been capped to take part in the preliminary matches in terms of the World Championship 2018 that takes place in Russia.
The national team of Bulgaria won Luxembourg in a dramatic match by the score – 4:3, winning in the additional time. Bojidar Mitrev (photo) did not play in the match, his colleague Vladislav Stoianov (Sheriff ex-goalkeeper) however played the entire match.
Bosnia and Herzegovina won Estonia by the score 5:0. Our team captain Mateo Susic was not registered for the match but is supposed to play in the following matches this year.
Cyrille Bayala played 30 minutes in a friendly match Burkina Faso against Cote d'Ivoire. Khalifa Jabbie was registered for the match in the national team of Sierra Leone but did not play. Burkina Faso national team is qualified to play in the Cup of African Nations final part that takes place in winter 2017.
