The 2022/23 UEFA Europa League group stage draw took place today in Istanbul.

 

FC Sheriff is in Group E, where they will compete with the teams: Manchester United England, Real Sociedad Spain and Omonoia Cyprus.

 

The group winners qualify to the 1/8 finals of the tournament, the second place holders qualify to the play-offs, where they will play with eight clubs that finished third in the Champions League group stage.

 

The third-place winners go to the UEFA Conference League and play play-offs against the eight clubs that finished second in the group stage of that competition.
