Today, the draw for the round of 16 of the Cupa Orange, the second most important tournament in Moldovan football, took place. Teams from League 7777 will enter the competition at this stage of the tournament.

FC Sheriff's first opponent will be FSC Ungheni.  The matches at this stage of the tournament will be single-leg fixtures. It is already known that the games will take place on October 28-29. The full schedule will be announced later.

The quarter-final matches are scheduled for spring, and the winner will be determined in two games (home and away).
