On the podium again!
FC “Sheriff” Academy teams took part in the second module of the international tournament Golden Sands Cup 2025, held in Bulgaria. According to the results of the competition, the club's pupils took high places in their age categories, demonstrating the quality level of preparation and organized play.
Age category 2015
The team led by Nikolay Voziyan took the 1st place, winning the tournament. In the semifinal match, the Academy representatives beat FC Prut with the score 2:1. In the final, the duel with the Bulgarian team “Cherno-More” ended in a draw (1:1), and in the penalty shootout FC “Sheriff” won - 3:1.
Age category 2013
Vyacheslav Podlisnik's wards finished in 3rd place.In the semifinals the team lost to FC “Galaktik” in a penalty shootout (1:2), the main time ended without scoring. In the match for third place was won over “Olympik” - 2:0. Separately, it is worth noting that throughout the tournament the team did not concede a single goal in regulation time.
Age category 2017
The team led by Artur Apostolov finished the tournament in 17th place. For the players of this age category, participation in the competition was an important stage in the formation and accumulation of playing experience.
