Today at the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Moldova, which took place online, a number of important decisions were made regarding the Moldova Football Championship in the National Division.

 

It is planned that the new tournament will begin on July 3. The decisions are as follows:

 

1. The Football Federation of Moldova shall bear the costs of organizing matches in terms of paying for the service of referees, medical support of games, as well as medical and sports examination of players of clubs from the National Division and Division A within the maximum number of players that can be declared.

 

2. Clubs of the National Division will again undergo licensing, but according to a simplified system, and also must additionally confirm their participation.

 

3. The football season, which switched to the fall-spring system, has changed. The National Division will be played from July 1, 2020 to June 30, 2021.

 

4. The exact dates of the transfer windows are:

    - 1 period: June 26 - September 18, 2020

    - 2 period: February 25 - March 25, 2021

 

5. A rule has been changed in the regulation regarding the transfer of players who, next year, as an exception, may be declared for three clubs.
