The Moldovan National team under the supervision of new head coach Alexander Spiridon played two games in Turkey. In the first one, they lost 0-1 to the South Korea team, and today ended in a draw with Azerbaijan (0-0).

Six FC Sheriff players were called up to the National team of Moldova. In the game against the Koreans, Vyacheslav Posmac (90 min), Vitalie Damascan(77), Vadim Pairel(61), Artyom Rozgonyuk (90) played from the beginning of the match. Petru Racu played the entire second half, Serghei Pashchenko stayed on the sub's bench.

In the game against Azerbaijan, in the starting line-up Vyacheslav Posmac, Petru Racu and Artyom Rozgonyuk played till the  end. Vitalie Damascan made appearance in the 55th minute, Vadim Pairel in the 68' and Serghei Pashchenko again stayed on the bench.
