In his last interview as FC Sheriff player Miral Samardzic said thank you to the supporters and promised to watch FC Sheriff performances:
My transfer to Croatian Rijeka is confirmed. Now Rijeka is my new team.
What was your happiest moment as FC Sheriff player?
There were lots of them. Most memorable are four championships of FC Sheriff and twice performing in Europa League group stage.
It often happens that football players return to clubs where they previously performed. Can we expect you to come back in the future?
I would not mind returning to FC Sheriff one day.
Supporters remember you as a real team captain and leader who symbolizes composure and safe play in defense. What would you say to the supporters?
I would tell them to continue supporting their team. We play for them. I hope they were happy with my play during my stay in the team. I appreciate their support. I will always watch FC Sheriff play. I will remember this stage of my career in Moldova because I have had many positive moments here. But this is football, you should move on.
