Mihajlo Cakic: We should improve our mistake in next match
Serbian halfback of FC Sheriff Mihajlo Cakic commented on the result of match with FC Speranta in official interview for our website.
We had enough chances for scoring but once again we did not convert the ones we created. The pitch we played on doesn’t match the quality. You cannot play on this field. Of course, both of the teams were in the same condition but it is more difficult to attack and score more on this kind of pitch. Two days later we are still tired because of game, grass and weather. There is no panic, there are 24 matchdays ahead. I think, everything is about to start. I’m sure we are going to prove that it was a random defeat. We must win in next game to get back to leading position. We are getting ready to do our best.
How could you comment on the missed goal?
We wanted to score but the opponent found us on counter-attack. FC Speranta were all at one end for the second time. We made a mistake in defense, and then there was a rough clash of our goalkeeper with the opponent. I don’t want to comment on the refereeing. We missed unnecessary goal. Then we had some good chances to score. In my opinion there was not enough time, it happens. We were trying to do our best as well as our opponent. The thing why football is interesting is that the favorite doesn’t win all the time. We should improve our mistake in next match.
