Maxim Koval: «I met a lot of good people in Tiraspol»
Maxim Koval's last interview before moving to the Greek Championship :
- Maxim, a year and a half passed quickly. Unfortunately, we have to say goodbye. What is left behind?
- Only positive mood and good things were left behind. There was a lot of warmth, good matches and support. I met a lot of good people who worked with me at the club, from the management to the staff. I want to say thank you to everyone: the management, of course, doctors, masseurs, administrators. You are great men, I will always be with you. Special thanks to Vazha Yedvardovich. When I said goodbye to him, I could not hold back my emotions. And of course, I want to say thank you to Sergei Paschenko or just Yurievich. With him I started to understand soccer differently. I hug you all.
- What moment in FC Sheriff is the most memorable?
- What moment? Of course, the penalty shootout, in which Dima Chelyadnik took us to Europe. It was just top emotions. Thank you, Dimka.
- After the big cities Maksym Koval played in Tiraspol, where the distances are not so big. How did you feel here?
- It is very comfortable in Tiraspol. Quiet, calm and cozy. It is a good place for family people. In soccer terms, the working conditions I was given are at the highest level.
- What was the club like for you?
- The club and Tiraspol was one big family for me. It was felt in everything, not only at matches. A good period in my career, which left, I repeat, only positive emotions.
- The fans have not always been unequivocal about your game. What will you say to them in farewell?
- I want to say one thing to the fans - thank you for everything. Yes, there are always bad matches, but I always enjoyed playing and hearing your support. I realize that we play for you and, of course, I wanted you to come and support the team more often. I hugged you all.
