Matej Palcic – the Slovenian defender who signed the agreement with our club. The newcomer of the team told about adaptation, games for the national team and so on.

- Matej, we are glad to welcome you in FC Sheriff. Did it take you long to make a decision on transfer?
- I heard a lot of good about the Tiraspol club from my acquaintances and friends. I know that here it is good sports infrastructure therefore the question on transfer was solved quickly enough.

- What goals do you set for yourself already in new collective?
- The main goal – pass to the group stage of the Champions League or the Europa League. This purpose is, actually, connected directly with my transfer to Sheriff. Well, and of course, to win the first place in the national championship.

- In our team there is high competition. Are you ready to get a place for yourself in the starting line-up?
- Of course, I am ready, otherwise I would not make the decision on transfer. I intend to give all my best and to prove myself.

- On your account there are a lot of games for youth national teams of Slovenia. Including one game for adult national team. Do you set a task to increase the account of games for the national team of the country?
- A game for the national team is a milestone event for me. To help my new team to achieve success in Euro cups will promote a call to the national team. I think, participation of FC Sheriff in the group stage of the Champions League or the Europa League is a great chance to receive a call to the national team of my country.

- What style of play do you prefer?
- All like the attacking football, and I’m not an exception. But without strong defense and skillful defensive actions, it’s difficult to show sharp style of play.

- How does your personal adaptation take place in the new clubs?
- I don’t have problems with this. I know that in Sheriff many players speak English and Balkan languages. I hope the partners will help me to adapt and become quickly, so to say, “insider” the in collective.
