Marko Stanojevic: “There are no easy games”
In the match with “Tottenham” you played in the first team for the first time after your injury. Did you feel any discomfort on the field?
Everything is fine. I was glad to come on the field. As for “Anji” I watched the game from the stand but before the game with “Spurs” I was full of emotions. I felt fine physically as if I was not injured before.

“Tottenham” is a very strong team but all things considered “Sheriff” played very well. What did the team lack in achieving a positive result?
Of course, “Tottenham” is not only the strongest team in our group but also in the whole tournament. We played the way our coach told us to play. We were very disappointed. We know we can play better. We had good chances to score but, unfortunately, we did not convert them. However, we showed that we can play properly against such a strong team.

What do you think about the game in London? What task does the team assign?
Our task is to achieve a positive result. We should play as well as we played in Tiraspol. Many things depend on “Tottenham” too, not only on us. If we play to the maximum, then I think there should be no problems.  We will have to use our chance that we will definitely have.

“Sheriff” is playing against “Veris” in the Championship of Moldova tomorrow. How does the team switch from Europa League to the Championship?
We know that we should be set for winning in each game in the championship. There are no easy games. We should play to the maximum not only with “Tottenham” but also with “Veris” and “Rapid”.

You could not outplay “Veris” in the first round. Tomorrow you must definitely win…
We must win not only tomorrow but also in each game.  We could not win in the first round. “Veris” is a good team, however if we play to the maximum then we will absolutely achieve a positive result.
