Marcel Metoua is seriously injured
FC Sheriff Ivorian defender Marcel Metoua who got injured in the last Europa League match against HNK Rijeka is now in Chisinau where he will be operated within few days.
On 14th minute of the match FC Sheriff – HNK Rijeka Marcel did not let the opponent to make a wing pass, then he fell down and got seriously injured. The diagnosis is split-bone fracture.
FC Sheriff doctor Vladimir Vremes commented on the player’s health and told about future plans:
“Now Marcel is in one of the hospitals in Chisinau. A council of physicians took place today. A decision was made to operate the player tomorrow. We hope that the operation will be successfully carried out. Then we will think about rehabilitation terms. Now it is too early to talk when Marcel will get back to the team”.
Football club Sheriff and supporters wish Marcel recover as soon as possible and get back to the team.
