Luvannor Henrique: "I'm coming out to the pitch to win"
After the Zimbru game the Brazilian gave interview to the official FC Sheriff website.
This Saturday Sheriff played against Zimbru. In this tough match yellow-blacks managed to win with the score 1-0. This victory allowed Sheriff to preserve the 6-point lead from Dacia.
Luvannor Henrique: «We didn't care what lead we had, we just wanted to win. Every match against Zimbru is hard, This opposition always gives us a lot of motivation»
Necessary to say, that Luvannor played left defender because of the absense of still sick Apatic.
«I played 4th consecutive match on this position. I feel comfortable, but I still have to get used to it. Step by step I adopt to the defender role", - said Luvannor.
FC Sheriff head coach paid great attention to Luvannor's play during the match, because Henrique played most of the matches for Sheriff as an attacking player.
Luvannor answered to the question on the coach's attention this way:
«He was not disappointed with me during the game. He just advised me how to play in different episodes»
The statistics of this opposition shows that Sheriff won more matches. This season Sheriff has beaten Zimbru twice, but the games surely haven't been easy.
«The games against Zimbru are tough. There is always some nervousness. Though, I should say, in our championship there is no easy opposition for us - everybody wants to overcome Sheriff. And we are longing for victory every time», - the Brazilian said.
This season Luvannor is first team regular. Despite of that, he could score only four goals. Earlier in the interview the Brazilian stated that his aim for this season is to score more goals. Here is what he thinks about it:
«It all depends on opportunities. Don't forget, now I am playing in defense. Maybe I have to work harder. I'll try to do my best in all remaining matches of this season»
In the upcoming friendly Sheriff will play an away game against Otelul, who took part in last year UEFA Champions League group stage. As Henrique stated, «There is nothing special in the preparation for this team. We all work as usual. It doesn't matter who we play against, we must preserve the winner mentality».
