Luka Pavlovic became the head coach of Football Academy
52-year-old Croatian specialist Luka Pavlovic has been appointed as Football Academy head coach.
Pavlovic studied kinesiology at the University of Zagreb and first obtained football coach and then fitness coach qualification. Luka Pavlovic possesses the UEFA A and UEFA PRO Licenses.
He got football education in such clubs as AFC Ajax, FC Bayern, Inter, Sturm, Partizan, Real Sociedad, Udinese, AC Chievo, SV Werder Bremen.
Luka started his career as a player in Yugoslavia. As for coaching, GNK Zagreb should be mentioned, there he was first team coach and Academy director. Pavlovic worked in the Football Federation of Croatia and engaged into scouting for the country’s national team and into analyzing opponent teams in the period of qualifiers for the World Championship 2014. Pavlovic was the head of Croatia U-17 national team, performed in EURO elite round. In 2014 he was named the best coach among other youth national team coaches in Croatia.
Luka has a son who is a football player and plays for SV Werder Bremen.
