Lovro Bizjak is a Slovenian forward who signed the agreement with our club. The newcomer of our team spoke about himself, adaptation, his experience in UEFA tournaments and his main goal at the moment.

 

- Lovro, we are glad to welcome you at FC Sheriff. How were you accepted into the team and what can you say about your adaptation?

- Yes, I'm glad I ended up in this club. Everything is going well for me. When the offer came, I already knew something about Sheriff. Now I have the opportunity to get to know the club better and, of course, help to achieve high results. The adaptation is going well, I understand Russian, plus Sebastien Thill and Rifet Kapic help me here. There are many international players in the club, while everyone is friendly and helps each other. I have always said that a great team is not a set of stars, but a strong and friendly team. I hope we will be able to create such a team in the near future.

 

- It is interesting to know what you knew about our club before your arrival?

- If you are a football player, then you know a lot of football clubs and Sheriff is no exception for me. The team, so to speak, is heard, every year it represents Moldova in the Champions League, so it is interesting for me to continue my career here.

 

- Speaking of European cups, You already have experience in them.

- Yes, namely in the qualification of the Europa League with FC Domzale. We went through three rounds and settled on the Olympic from Marseille. There were glorious games, we almost managed to break into the group stage of the tournament. Eurocups are a huge motivation for me. I hope to show my best side in such tournaments.

 

- Tell us about the period of your career in Russia.

- In general, I am pleased with how everything turned out in Ufa. The main thing is that I managed to get good experience. In the beginning, of course, it was difficult, the coach was changed and the results went negative. In the first year we played play-offs and managed to keep our registration in the Premier League. The next season turned out to be much better, we took points from the teams from the top of the table. These were great games, although we managed to lose points with weaker opponents. It was extremely interesting, therefore, in terms of experience, I consider this period of my career as positive.

 

- In Ufa you played with Olivier Thill, in Sheriff now you have to play with his brother Sebastien ...

- Yes, everything turned out so interesting. I already knew Sebastien, by the way, they look alike. Funny guys and a lot of fun with them.

 

- Surely, when moving to other clubs, you set a certain goal for yourself. What's your goal now?

- Now the goal is to get in shape and work a lot at training. Without dedication at the training camp, you will not be able to prove yourself well already in the games themselves. If a player plays well, then the team as a whole is also good.
