FC Sheriff reserves in the second tour of Division-A lost to FC Balti team. Our trainees missed the only goal in the stoppage time of the match.

 

The host team from the first minutes was actively involved in the attacking line, which allowed them to create several tense moments at the goal of MikhaiCoban. We must pay tribute to our goalkeeper, thanks to whom we managed to keep the goal intact in the first half. The wards of Shota Makharadze gradually became more active and began to act much more courageously. At the end of the half, Serafim Cojocar earned a penalty kick, but Egor Chesnokov, who shot it, unfortunately, could not outplay the home team goalkeeper.

 

In the second half, the nature of the game changed. The defense of the “yellow-blacks” no longer allowed the opponent to create really sharp moments. At the same time, our team front, on the contrary, improved. In the end, there were handbags every now and then, the referee issued warnings, and our boys continued to act aggressively until the final whistle. But, alas, we missed in the last and added minutes of the game. Sergei Mishkov, taking advantage of the blunder of our defenders, chalked up the winning goal. An offensive defeat, with the enormous dedication and efficiency of the young men of the Sheriff Academy.
