I congratulate FC Sheriff on the victory. It was a real match of the Cup. We were seriously preparing for that game trying not to give FC Sheriff use their strong sides. Of course, it is sad to lose in last seconds but we move forward.  There is a difficult game with FC Zimbru ahead. Our main task is to recover and finish the championship worthily. Unfortunately, we leave the Cup. We cannot complain that we were unlucky in the draw, however we finish the tournament with our heads high. Thanks to the guys. They did everything they could.
 
Did FC Veris have great hopes for the Cup?
Why should we take part then if we don’t have great hopes? We have difficult games ahead and the first examination for us was FC Sheriff. We knew where we were coming and that it would be difficult for us. We wanted to play worthily. It was difficult to play in combination football in such weather, that’s why the game was based on long passes.
