Less than a week is left till renewal of the championship of Moldova. FC Sheriff Brazilian midfielder Leonel Olimpio gave an interview for the official site of the club and shared his expectations on this event.

Not much time is left till renewal of the championship. Is the team looking forward to this event?
Of course, we do look forward to renewal of the championship. Everyone is ready to show fight. The team understands that the club has the highest tasks. We should be reaching our goals starting from the first matches of the spring. We are ready to catch up. I think we deserve being on the first place.

What are your best cards comparing to opponents?
Our best card is the team’s spirit. We also had great training camps. We had a chance to play against good teams. It was difficult but everyone worked to the maximum at the training sessions. We are ready for the championship both physically and mentally.

How do you feel after the training camps? Don’t you feel too tired?
Yes, it was not easy while training camps but now I don’t feel tiredness. We are in anticipation of the championship. This feeling gives us even more strength.

What do you expect from the match against FC Zaria?
The opponent will try to show everything they can. The game will not be an easy one but we will try hard to win. We don’t consider any other result.
