Kept the tradition
FC Sheriff kept the tradition in matches with the Russian clubs, having won in the test match Spartak Moscow with the score 2:1.
Having given deliberately a ball to more eminent rival, Goran Sablic relied on compactness of the game in the middle line and on fast transitions from defense to the attack. And this plan worked. After the first 10 minutes in which Muscovites had territorial advantage, to the middle of the half the match leveled off.
Before the first goal Selikhov struck aside a good shot of Patrick Pedersen from the penalty area. Balls flew to the goal of the rival closer to the end of the half. At first Vladimir Kovacevic was in time on finishing after the shot of Veaceslav Posmac. And on the last minute of the half Robert Tambe gave ideal pass to Antun Palic who shot the rival's goal.
In the second half of the match Spartak owned the ball. Managed even to score after a mistake of our defenders. Sheriff answered with the goal. Tambe made a mark, but judges cancelled the goal, having recorded off side.
As a result victory of FC Sheriff. In the next match at the training camp in Turkey our boys will play on February 26 with FC Shakhtyor Soligorsk.
