Josip Brezovec - FC Sheriff new player
Croatian midfielder Josip Brezovec signed a contract with FC Sheriff. The player came from HNK Rijeka.
Josip started his professional career in NK Varazdin where he played for almost four seasons. Then Brezovec played for Croatian Dinamo Zagreb and Slaven Belupo, then was transferred to HNK Rijeka. He played in Rijeka for two seasons and went on loan to Italian Spezia Calcio. In 2016 the player returned to Rijeka.
Josip was a team captain in Rijeka and was named the leader of the season 2012/13. He owns the Cup and the Supercup of Croatia 2014.
The player was capped to Croatian national team from the year 2005 to 2008.
