Jhulliam Pires: “I feel comfortable in “Sheriff”
In the match with “Speranţa” you were able to be distinctive three times and this fact cannot leave supporters unhappy…
I would like to say to our supporters that I always try to make my game spectacular. Yes, it does not happen each time but I don’t forget that it is football, it is great sports for people. My goal is to help the team and the club who has already given so much to me. I would like to say thank you, I want to make supporters happy with my scored goals.
After spending a definite time in “Sheriff” can you say that you and your team partners have started to feel each other closer on the field?
I agree with that because there are many Brazilian players in the team. We have our own way of playing and that is why we understand each other more. And we have known one another for a definite period and had enough time to achieve good team-work. I would like to add that I quickly adapted in the team. I feel comfortable playing in “Sheriff”.
What do you think of our rivals in Moldovan Championship?
The teams are good. Not every team has the same conditions for training sessions, games, however everyone is trying hard to play against “Sheriff”. Because of the fact that each team does its best playing against us the Championship becomes stronger and more interesting.
Thanks to the last match you can be compared with the leading strikers. Is it important for you as an attacking player to be the best striker in the Championship?
It is super important for me! When I came to “Sheriff”, I set a goal – to become the best striker in the Championship. I want to achieve this goal, that is why I will do my best on the training sessions. I will do everything that depends on me in order to be the best in the strikers’ list.
“Sheriff” got its first point in Europa League group stage. How do you like the atmosphere of the competition?
I had a great time playing in Europa League. The atmosphere on the stadium was incredible. I have never played in such matches so for me it was very interesting to see what I am capable of. Talking about the group stage, I think it is possible for us to be in the round of 32.
Next Europa League match our team is playing in Norway against “Tromsø”. What thoughts do you have about this game?
We have the information on this team but as for me I don’t have much of it right now. Looking at the match statistics of “Tromsø” we can expect to win.
