At the beginning of April, it was 14 years since the start of the biggest winning streak in the history of Moldavian football. Its author was the first team led by Leonid Kuchuk.

 

After losing to Tiraspol Tiligul-Tiras 1–2, Sheriff remained undefeated in the National Division until March 12, 2008. During this time, our boys triumphantly played 63 matches, won 49 victories and 14 matches ended in a draw. The goal difference is 123-13. Vazha Tarkhnishvili, Andrei Corneencov, Jose Nadson, Florent Rouamba, Benjamin Balima, Serghei Pascenco and others shone in that team.

 

Chisinau Zimbru, the second longest in a series, played 24 matches without defeats. The third position is held by FC Sheriff under the leadership of Zoran Zekic, who does not lose 21 matches in the Championship.
