Victor Oliveira: "It was nice to share positive moments with him on and away the pitch. He was a devoted husbands and a special father for his daughter he loved with his whole heart.
One interesting thing I remember about him is that he always kept an eye on all of us, Brazilians, who play in FC Sheriff to be together after games and in our free time. He always went to Odessa to buy meat for our barbeque."

Fred Nelson Oliveira, FC Sheriff former player: "We got to know each other in winter in Antalya, Turkey. I went to visit my former teammates in FC Sheriff and had a chance to get acquainted with my friend Teixeira, a calm person who dreamed big in football…
We quickly got in touch in Antalya with mutual respect. In June 2017, I came to Tiraspol to visit our club again. During those three weeks that I was there I spent a lot of time with Teixeira.
 
Once in a conversation he mentioned he would keep playing football until 30 and then we would work together as he had already had a wish to become an agent. He was a polyglot and a smart guy. He invited me to his wedding that should be held in Brazil. It was fun: every day he went to the restaurant and ordered his favourite dish – rice with oysters and chicken…"
