In the summer of 2010, exactly one year after the first performance at the group stage of the Europa League, FC Sheriff repeated its path in Europe. Although, under the leadership of another head coach, Andrei Sosnitski, who before that was part of the coaching staff of Leonid Kuchuk.

 

The main and most pleasant obstacle on the way to the group stage was the fight in Zagreb, against the Croatian champion - Dinamo. Home draw gave a chance to continue the fight. And our boys took this chance. A long match - 120 minutes of playing time and a penalty shootout. Our boys coped with this test.
