In 2013, FC Sheriff, as almost always, began the campaign in European competition with the qualifications of the Champions League. The path brought our club to the playoff round of the Europa League, where we got  Serbian FC Vojvodina as a rival.

 

A draw in the first match gave good chances of getting into the group. The main difficulty was the absence of Henrique Luvanannor, who got the red card in the first game. But even without him, the team managed at 100%. Two goals in the second half (scored by Juliam and Fernando) brought us for the third time to the Europa League group.
