We continue the section “Home Cinema” with the same, 2009 year. The group stage of the Europa League was not an easy test. The first participation left an imprint. The team wanted to show themselves from the best side.

 

In the first match there was a draw 0: 0 (away match against Steaua), then a not entirely obligatory defeat from the Turkish Fenerbahce. In the match against Dutch Twente the wards of Leonid Kuchuk showed their best side. In each of the halves, they scored a ball (Benjamin Balima and Jimmy France scored). As a result - the first victory at the group stage in the history of the club and Moldavian football.
