Goran Sablic: We need to move on and we will move beyond
FC Sheriff head coach Goran Sablich answered questions of journalists after the match of the 15th tour of the National Division with CS Petrokub.
- How will you comment on match results?
- We had everything, advantage, the moments. But what I can tell if we don't score. Already on the end of the first 15 minutes we could score three goals, calm a game and turn the scale about result of a game. Then for about 10 minutes calmed down, allowed the rival to steal several times a ball, and they scored, having the only chance. Nothing new and in the second half. We had many chances but nobody could implement them. Here is my comment.
- What’s happened in today's match? Bad luck, lack of skill, concentration?
-I have no remarks upon team’s desire. It is rather a bad luck. If we take the last three games, including Eurocups, we had huge advantage, created many moments, but we didn't score. Perhaps there isn't enough skill, concentration. It is necessary to get rid of this. Still, the team plays well. It is impossible to win if you don't score. If we wouldn't create the moments, it would be worse.
- Has the team recovered after the last match in Eurocup?
- We had very serious approach to a match today, and it was clearly seen. There was no underestimation. We knew how Petrokub would play. But, I repeat, we have made everything, we needed only to score a ball in the net. It didn’t happen. I congratulate Petrokub on victory. We come back home and will prepare for a match in the Europa League which is waiting for us on Thursday. It will be necessary to be prepared, be restored quickly. It’s not much time.
-What should be made before the match of the Europa League? Maybe it’s necessary to speak to the team, to calm down?
-In fact there is nothing terrible, everybody lose. But understand, sorry for the put hard work. The team has everything: a game, a devotion, a big advantage. Unfortunately, there are such games when the rival scores having one chance, and you can't make it having many chances. This is our problem. We understand it. -I can’t answer this question now. Probably such variant is possible. But now the most important, is to be well prepared for the match of the Europa League, to make the analysis of today's match. To consider the psychological state of players. Believe, they understand that they play well, but there is a feeling of disappointment when you don't score, having such moments.
