- Good evening. First, I want to congratulate the team on the victory. It is very important to us in the first match of the Championship. It was a difficult game. First of all, psychologically. We really wanted to prove that the Super Cup game was an accident. Had an advantage today from the first minute. It is a pity that we did not score earlier. The players showed character. They pressed the whole game, and in the end they deservedly scored and won.

 

- Comment on the substitution at the beginning of the second half, leaving of Susic and Oancea?

- We wanted to strengthen more the attack. Changed the scheme of the game. They played almost 4-2-2. Everything was given to the attack. It was clear that Speranta team will sit very low and will wait for the moment to counterattack. But the boys in defense played carefully and played to the end. I guessed with substitutions. Both from the left flank and right. It turned out more load on Speranta on the flanks. Thank God, we used this advantage.

 

- There were a lot of opportunities to score of the standards. Why did not it work?

- Did not work out. Our goal was to attack more by flanks. We knew that Speranta will be low. In this situation, it was difficult to find space through the central zone. There were moments, but unfortunately did not score. No claims against the boys.

 

- How will the team spend a two week pause in the Championship?

- Some players are going to play for the national team. Most of them are Moldavian players. The rest will get a couple of days off. Then we start preparing for the next match.
