Goran Sablic: I congratulate the whole team on Champion title
FC Sheriff head coach Goran Sablic after the match of the 24th tour in the National Division with FC Milsami:
- Good evening. First of all, I want to congratulate the whole team and the whole club on gaining the next Champion title. Today our players gave on the pitch everything that they had. We played a very good match, created moments. There were many at the rival’s goal. Milsami also had scoring chances but we had more chances. Unfortunately we missed a ball at the very end of the match.
- Can you draw some conclusions concerning the played season?
-It’s early to draw conclusions. We have ahead four more matches which we will play at full capacity. We have to finish the season on a major note. It is possible to draw some conclusions, of course. First, it concerns Euro cups where we, unfortunately, didn’t pass to the group stage. Undoubtedly, defeat from Shkendija was the biggest failure. We had to pass this rival. Something went wrong and with Qarabag. In the championship we were opposed by Milsami and Petrocub. Very strong teams. But we were stabler. I think, the victory in the away match over Milsami, after which we got separation in seven points, was the key moment. Then it was easier.
