- Gaby, how would you characterize the game against Zimbru?

- We knew that the match against Zimbru would not be easy. This is one of the principal rivals of FC Sheriff. Of course, we wanted to decide the outcome of this match in the first half, but, unfortunately, it did not work out. We prepared for the game and tried to prove ourselves on the field. But the result does not always depend on preparation. Perhaps somewhere we lacked concentration. Earned only one point. We will try to play stronger in the next matches.

 

- What was the mood and set for the game?

- We always have a fighting spirit. We treat every match as a final. Seriously preparing for this fight. In principle, the same way as we prepare for all games. We knew that we had to win, we knew that if we win, we will become champions ahead of schedule. But this is football.

 

– Missed from the standards – the reason is a misunderstanding or simply did not have time for the opponent?

- Perhaps we weren't aggressive enough. I can't blame anyone personally. We are a team. We win together and we lose together.

 

- The line of defense in the game against Zimbru was rotated, tell us about the interaction with other defenders.

- We have a complete understanding on the field with all team members. We work out different combinations during training, so there is no problem if there are any changes in the arrangement of players. I can play in a line with our captain and with other players.

 

- What was the atmosphere like in the dressing room after the game?

- Let's put it mildly, there was no joy either in the dressing room or on the bus on the way home. We know it's important to stay positive. This is important for our next matches.

 

- You scored your first goal for the team against Petrocub. How did you celebrate this event?

- Of course, I am pleased to score, given my position on the field. I am very pleased that I scored and that we won this match. But this is the merit of the whole team. Any defender likes to score and this is a big plus in the career of a defender.

 

- There are not many games left until the end of this season - has the goal remained the same?

- The goal of the team is to stay focused and win all matches. We know that if we win one more time, we become champions. But our goal is to win three points in every match. We want to please our fans, coaches, director and president.
