Hollander forward of Ghanaian origin Fred Benson left FC Sheriff. The contract with the player was terminated on mutual agreement of both parties.

Benson joined FC Sheriff in June 2014. During this period the forward played 14 matches for FC Sheriff. He scored two goals at the Cup of Moldova, one of which was victorious in the quarterfinal match against FC Veris, one scored goal in the championship, as well as one goal in a Champions League match.
