Fred Benson is transferred to FC Sheriff
Football Club Sheriff signed a contract with 30-year-old Hollander forward Fred Benson.
Benson was born in Ghana, however he started his football career in Holland in youth teams like FC Ajax, Zeeburgia, Vitesse. In the season 2004/2005 he played in Vitesse main team for the first time. Then Benson played for FC Waalwijk (Holland) for three years. From 2010 till 2012 Benson played for Chinese club ShāndōngLǔnéng, Waalwijk and Lechia from Poland. The last team the Hollander played for was PEC Zvolle (Holland) where he participated in 69 matches and scored 22 goals. Together with FC Zvolle Benson won the Cup of Holland in the season 2013/2014.
In 2006 performing in the national team U-21 of Holland, Benson won the Championship of Europa.
In FC Sheriff Benson will play with the number 19.
